    WCs at Aira Force car park, Patterdale (opposite the White Lion pub) and Glenridding Tourist Information Centre.

    There are baby-changing facilities in the women's WCs at Aira Force car park.

    Dogs are welcome but due to animal grazing please keep your dog on a lead and take any mess home with you.

    There are wonderful picnic spots throughout the valley.

    There are seasonal tea-rooms at Aira Force and Side Farm (NT). There are also many cafes and tea-rooms in Glenridding, Pooley Bridge and Patterdale.

    Please note, there are no parking facilities for the tea-room at Side Farm.

    There are several pubs in Glenridding, Dockray, Pooley Bridge and Patterdale.

    There is a Visitor Centre in the National Park Tourist Information Centre at Glenridding and a seasonal Visitor Centre at Pooley Bridge.

    Information stewards are based at Aira Force car park through the main season and are able to offer advice on local events and places to visit.

    There is a base camp at High Wray, near Ambleside.

    There are two holiday cottages at Hartsop Hall, close to Ullswater and Brotherswater.

    There is a campsite at Side Farm, telephone - 017684 82337. Please note, there are no parking facilities for the tea-room.
