Shop The shop stocks a wide range of gifts from the National Trust and local artists.
Originally broadcast by the BBC to coincide with re-opening in 1995, 'Uppark - A Country House Reborn' is available on video at £10 (also available in NTSC format). 'Uppark Restored', the book telling the story of the restoration and the fine craftsmen and women brought together to return Uppark to its former glory, is available in paperback at £12.99. Both can be ordered by telephoning 01730 825256. Postage and packing will be charged at cost.
Exhibition The exhibition, situated by the car park, tells the story of the 1989 fire which nearly destroyed Uppark, the National Trust's decision to restore the house and the subsequent six years of repair and restoration. During this time the exhibition building was a temporary site workshop used by the plasterers. It is recommended you visit the exhibition before the house, if time permits.
Restaurant The licensed restaurant serves morning coffee, home-made lunches and afternoon teas. The selection of dishes focuses on traditional recipes, using local ingredients and produce whenever possible. A children's menu and high chairs are available.
