    Weddings at Wimpole Hall

Imagine a stunning Georgian mansion, surrounded by a backdrop of spectacular vistas and serpentine lakes, as a backdrop to your special day.

Wimpole Hall is ideal for your wedding, for it was designed with entertaining in mind. During its heyday the 2nd Earl of Oxford, Lord Harley, entertained a glittering circle of writers, musicians and artists here. Today you can entertain in the same sumptuous style, an experience that your guests will never forget!

Civil ceremonies can be held in the opulent Saloon and Dining Room, perhaps with a drinks reception in the grandeur of the main Entrance Hall. And a wedding breakfast for family and friends in the Old Rectory Restaurant is great for a perfect beginning to your perfect day.

Alternatively, an exclusive marquee sited by the Parterre and opening out onto beautiful parkland can accommodate larger parties, ideal for dancing the night away. Wimpole also provides the perfect setting for wedding photographs, providing an elegant and impressive backdrop for all those special memories.

Our team of friendly and experienced staff and top caterers will help you to plan every detail of your big occasion, with an emphasis on high quality service, individuality, fine dining and attention to detail.
