Arriving at this part of the Estate you are in awe of the Great Barn, set within the traditional farmyard, contrasting with the modern piggery and cattle sheds. Discover rare breeds of cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, goats and horses and see how we care for them. Learn about food and farming with daily activities: try our 'milking buckets', watch the Jersey cow on the milking machine and join in grooming the donkeys. See the Farm Manager's office and find out how he manages a modern arable and livestock farm, day by day, and takes it forward into the future
Don't miss
Spot the tiny piglets escaping their sty.
Take a Shire horse wagon ride to the farm.

Making the most of your day
