A dark stormy sky lends some gravitas to the Pennine Way path at Standedge
Marsden Moor is a rugged but valuable environment. Ongoing conservation work is necessary to restore it to, and maintain it in good condition. It is part of the Yorkshire Moors and Dales Appeal, raising money and awareness to look after spectacular places in this region.

Are you clearing out your garden? Do you have some plants you no longer want?
Our volunteer plant group can be found working hard each Friday in our estate yard. The plant group grows, pots on, and sells garden and house plants to help us raise money for our moorland estate conservation.
We are always looking for donations of plants. If you are clearing your garden please bring your unwanted plants to the office where they will be gratefully received. Please call the office to arrange a suitable time to drop your plants off.
