Eastergate Bridge is a fabulous spot. If it is a rainy spring, this is a wonderful place to watch the river and the torrent of water rush past. It can also be a very tranquil place in the sun.

Paragliders above the moors
Paragliders can often be seen above the moors at Buckstones on a fine day. Buckstones is an ideal spot for model airplane fliers as well, and the occasional kite.

Follow the Pennine Way
The Pennine Way crosses the whole of the estate from south to north. There are plenty of footpaths crossing the Marsden Moor Estate, and there are walks suitable for everyone.

Moorland wildlife
There is a huge variety of creatures that the moors are home to, including birds, mammals and insects. Moorland birds are ground nesting, so please stay on footpaths during nesting season. This is between April and July.

There are numerous places on the moors for spectacular scenery. Getting to the top of a hill or the head of a valley will give you fabulous views while allowing you to catch your breath.
