- Refurbished tearoom for sandwiches, cream teas, cakes, tea and coffee
- Gatehouse shop for souvenirs, gifts, second-hand books and plants
- Free parking, 200 yards. Access for coaches and other large vehicles by gated entrance 100 yards north of main gatehouse entrance. Further free parking in nearby Long Melford
- Toilets at the gatehouse car park and within the house
- Dogs on leads and only in car park and park walk
- Talks to groups available
- Groups welcome, please contact us before you visit
Family & children
- Baby-changing facilities
- Hip-carrying infant seats and baby sling for loan
- Suitable for small school groups - please call to arrange your visit
- Croquet set available for visitors to use in the Garden
- Beatrix Potter storybags available for loan containing a toy, story and picnic rug
Access
- Two steps to entrance of building, ramp available. One wheelchair to loan
- Adapted toilet on the ground floor of house
- Braille guide

- Drop-off point at front of house
- Stairlift on the upper floors of the house (only one user is allowed upstairs at one time, due to fire regulations)
- Gardens mainly lawns and border but with some slopes and steps. Access to Tudor banqueting house difficult due to steps and slopes
