Nourish yourself with one of our delicious spring salads

The Potting Shed cafe serves seasonal lunches daily between 12noon to 2pm. From hearty one pots, soups and stews to nourishing spring salads, there's something for everyone. Why not bring along the family and let the little ones enjoy a 50 things lunchbox. All of our produce is locally and sustainably sourced, including vegetables from our very own kitchen garden next door.

Tempting treats...

Our Potting Shed cafe is a great place to catch up with friends over a cuppa. We have a tempting array of fresh, home baked cakes and pastries if you fancy treating yourself. Or instead, enjoy one of our a delicious scones with clotted cream and jam.

Head into the park afterwards to wander through our 125 acre estate. Wander through the scented rose garden in the summer months.

Garden Centre

The first National Trust Garden Centre is now open with a whole range of new and exciting products. From plants to pets and trees to tools our friendly gardeners are ready to help you find just what your garden needs.

Our shop has moved into the garden centre too, so pop in and find a range of gifts perfect for friends and family.

Book Worm?

Visit our second-hand bookshop in the historic stable yard and pick up a bargain book or two. We stock a range of books covering different interests and all money raised goes straight back into helping us maintain the park.

Discover local crafts

Take a look into the craft workshops as you wander past

Our old estate workshops are home to local artists and crafts workers. Take a look at the beautiful watercolour paintings or browse little handmade gifts. Opening times do vary so please ring beforehand if you're interested in a particular workshop.

Our kitchen garden supplies fresh fruit and vegetables all year round to the Potting Shed cafe.

Try some of our tasty, seasonal dishes and cakes made with produce straight from the garden.
