Learn with us

We offer a range of informal and formal learning activities, from family fun craft days to formal led school workshops. We aim to bring the Park and its story to life through interesting and exciting learning resources in our atmospheric Snuff Mill. For further information contact our learning officer.

National Trust led sessions

Curriculum-focused activities are offered in science, geography and history for pre-school years through to Key Stage 3. Sessions are available from Tuesday to Thursday.

You must book at least one month in advance.

Self led teaching sessions

You can visit and take part in your own activities or you can choose one of our 'You Can Do It' sessions. Self led sessions must be booked one month in advance and groups must become Education Group Members of the Trust.

Education Group Membership

Education Group Membership allows discounted entry to all National Trust Properties for the whole school for one year. Prices depend on the number of children on the school roll.

Groups

Youth group sessions are available after school, during school holidays or at weekends, depending on availability. Tailor-made sessions for community groups, including workshops, are available. We can also come to you.
