Discover our network of footpaths, many with wide smooth surfaces suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Design your own circular walk, taking in the river, the water mills, the historic rose garden, the meadows or wetlands.

We have so many beautiful places in the park to enjoy, where will you choose to go? Bring a blanket and picnic or a book and find a quiet spot in the rose garden or play some family games in our great open spaces.

We've lots of play spaces in the park. You can find out more about seasonal food with the activity boards by the café. Let off steam in our natural play area or let your imagination take over on our storyboat.

What different wildlife can you spot?

See and hear some of the urban wildlife visitors to the park. Bring your binoculars and visit the wetlands, wander the meadows or pause by the River Wandle on the far side of the rose garden and see what you can spot.

Our estate is the perfect place for muddy paws and wagging tails. Head out towards the wetlands or south field to let you four legged friend have a good run around. We ask you to please keep dogs on a lead in the rose garden and around the buildings and pick up after them.

Explore our heritage along the Wandle Trail

The park sits in the middle of the 14-mile (20km) Wandle Trail which follows the route of the River Wandle from Croydon to Wandsworth. There are both walking and cycling routes which allow you to enjoy the heritage, flora and fauna of this typical chalk stream.

Orienteering

Orienteering is a sport for all ages and abilities. Buy a copy of our orienteering map and trail for £1 from the shop or second-hand bookshop and see how fast you can complete the trail.

Fishing in the park

The River Wandle at Morden Hall Park

Fishing is restricted to members of the Morden Hall Park angling club. The club is managed by local people for local people. Pick up an application form from our shop or we can email one to you.

How about an outdoor adventure in the park? Borrow one of our themed family explorer packs, challenge each other to find all the things on our I-spy sheet or follow one of our family trails around the park.

Hire out a recumbent bike

Fancy getting round the park in a totally different way? We hire recumbent bikes during the school holidays for both adults and children.They're great fun for all the family and perfect for exploring the estate.
