Mount Stewart garden appeal

You've been helping us to restore Mount Stewart. But surrounding land we've recently acquired now needs our attention. Can you support this celebrated place a little more?

Mount Stewart's celebrated gardens

We've achieved so much, but there's more to do

Thanks to generous support, we've transformed Mount Stewart, from the beautifully restored Dodo Terrace to the replanted Italian Garden. But 900 acres of surrounding demesne land, including the Walled Garden, recently came into our care, and it's in urgent need of repair.

Bringing the gardens to life

What your gift could do

  • £35 could reinstate one square metre of the Rose Garden with fragrant heritage roses
  • £75 could provide one square metre of trail path in the newly acquired demesne
  • £200 could replace four handmade panes of glass in the glasshouse
