Congratulations on your engagement

Nostell Priory is a magnificent Palladian mansion on the outskirts of Wakefield in West Yorkshire. Surrounded by gardens, lakes and parkland, it's an idyllic spot for your special day and a wonderful backdrop for wedding photos. We have the choice of two locations for your ceremony, as well as the perfect place for your reception.

The Top Hall

Ready for a wedding in the Top Hall

With breathtaking views down the Vista, the Top Hall offers a classic setting for your wedding ceremony. You enter from the external staircase, with the Yorkshire countryside as a perfect background.

The Riding School and Coach House

An ideal location for your reception, the Riding School offers stylish dining. There is a grand piano, a viewing balcony (perfect for a string quartet) and comfortable seating for your guests.

The Orangery

Nostell Rose Garden in Spring

A light room opening into the Rose Garden, access to the Orangery is via a private car park. With its adjacent bridal room and Riding School, it is a self-contained area for your wedding celebrations.
