Our café

Open from 10am our café offers some great dishes made in-house using fresh, seasonal, local produce including cakes and other treats. We offer a range of hot and cold meals as well as a selection of  vegetarian and gluten free food. Kids can enjoy the pic 'n' mix lunchbox selections.

If you're in a hurry, our 'grab and go' kiosk sells a range of sandwiches, crisps and ice cream.

Local authors read at Nymans

The bookshop hosts a programme of readings by local authors throughout the year. Based in the rustic potting shed the next readings are: 

  • Pam Weaver -  'There's Always Tomorrow' on 7 July.
  • Ross Black - 'A Talent for Humanity' on 23 September.

The thriving and popular bookshop at Nymans

Nymans bookshop is a book lover's paradise. Located in the heart of the garden the shop raises funds for conservation projects in the house and collection. We regularly replenish our stock with a diverse range of titles from £1 bargains to rare first editions and collectors books.
