From 5 - 30 April visit our plant centre and we will provide all you need to pot up your own fuchsia plant to take home and care for. Then bring it back to enter our flower show in September, where they will be judged with prizes.

Come along to the potting shed on 10 and 11 May to make your own little paper pot and plant vegetable seeds to take home and grow. You can tick off one of your 50 things and get a sticker for your scrapbook too.

50 things to do before you're 11¾
Visit us and collect your free activity scrapbook and tick off some of the 50 Things you’ve done in the great outdoors. Discover crazy creatures and have fantastic adventures.
Borrow a GPS unit and go on a trail to find a geocache in the woods or try our beginners' trail in the garden.
Tick off no. 49 (Find a geocache) and collect a sticker for your scrapbook.

We have half-size portions of our meals and kids' lunch boxes available in our café. You can get ice-creams and snacks from the tea garden kiosk. Picnics are allowed in the garden.

With family membership you can enjoy great adventures at many National Trust places and free car parking at countryside sites. Both 1 and 2 adult family memberships available, just ask at reception.
