General

  • Tea-room serving local and seasonal drinks, cakes, and light lunches
  • Shop selling gifts, souvenirs, and local produce
  • Picnic hampers can be booked in advance or on the day
  • Tours can be arranged but please contact us before your visit
  • Limited parking available - please see 'how to get here' for more information

Families

  • Baby-changing area in the ladies toilets
  • Pushchairs and baby back-carriers are admitted in the house
  • Trails of the museum and garden are available for children
  • Family events are run throughout the year including our big bug weekends, pirates at Overbeck's and mad inventor's day

Access

  • Overbeck's is not easily accesible to those using wheelchairs as there are loose gravel paths, steps and steep paths
  • There are three parking spaces available for those with blue badges, just 20 yards away from the entrance
  • If you do wish to visit with a wheelchair then access to the museum, shop and, tea-room can be arranged
  • The toilets however, are unsuitable for wheelchair access
  • Braille and large print guides are available
