  • Public toilets (not National Trust) are located behind Parke House, open all year
  • Dogs are welcome, but please keep on a lead where stock are grazing. Please use the waste bins provided for dog mess
  • Fishing rights for the River Bovey are leased to members from the local fishing syndicate. Please contact us for further information
  • Horse riding is permitted in some areas with a licence. To apply for one, please contact us
  • There are several pubs and hotels in nearby Bovey Tracey
  • Stay at The Lodge, at Parke, sleeps two

  • There are two designated accessible spaces in the car park. Visitors can be dropped off outside the café. Two additional accessible spaces are available down the hill beyond the café
  • Accessible toilets are located behind Parke House (parking available) and in the café
  • The estate features a variety of surfaces. There are several rough and uneven paths in the woodland area, with some steep gradients and boardwalks with steps
  • Along the river there are some rocks and tree roots to watch out for, which can be particularly muddy after wet weather
  • There are benches at various view points around the estate
  • An all-terrain mobility vehicle is available for hire to use on a few routes around Parke. This Tramper is part of the Countryside Mobility Scheme and full driver training is provided. Get in touch for more information and bookings (normal office hours only)
