Perfect for woodland walks all year round

770 acres to explore

Over the years, our estate has been put to a wide range of uses: areas have been heathland, oak and hornbeam coppice, woodland pasture and hop gardens. In recent times, we have concentrated on developing a herd of Sussex cattle, expanding hop production and managing the newsletter.

Dogs are welcome on our estate but please keep them on a lead. There are also drinking bowls in the courtyard and by the walkers' toilet block, which are open all year round.

Perfect for picnics

There is nothing quite like a picnic with the family on a hot summer's day and you're welcome to picnic anywhere on our estate.

Sussex cattle

The Sussex cattle have recently been reintroduced on our estate. Historically Scotney would have been in Sussex but the boundaries were moved because you could get a better price for your hops in Kent.
