Learning at Seaton Delaval Hall
At Seaton Delaval Hall, we can provide a wealth of learning opportunities. Whatever project you’re working on, we’re happy to discuss your needs and explore ways in which we can help.
Some examples include:
- Explore our buildings, dating back hundreds of years, and our woodlands, wildlife and formal gardens. Use these as sources for creative writing and imagery. Imagine what these spaces were used for and what happened to leave them in their current condition.
- Inside, our Central Hall provides an open and versatile space to hold different types of activity, exhibition or event whilst being surrounded stunning architecture and magnificent views.
- Explore our cellars and stables and learn about the life of the servants ‘below stairs’.
- Woven throughout all of our spaces are the stories and tales of the Delaval Family who helped shape the local area. Bring these people to life through the family portraits and possessions in the West Wing.
- Learn about the National Trust and conservation in action. Meet our experts and learn about the work that they do.
