- Dog walking - we welcome dogs on South and East Park, but unfortunately they are not allowed into the landscape garden
- Drinking water for dogs is available at reception and the restaurant. Outdoor seating at restaurant for visitors with dogs to enjoy refreshments
- Picnics are welcome in the garden and parkland
- Groups visits welcome - please book ahead
- Free parking - open all year
Family & children
- New natural play trail in Kennel Wood, on South Park. 15-minute walk from reception, across grass, so could be muddy in wet weather. Buggy friendly but come prepared for the weather on the day
- Family activities to pick up from reception every day to explore the garden and parkland
- All-terrain pushchair and back carriers available to borrow
- Family toilet with baby changing at reception
- Children's lunches in our restaurant
Access
- Mobility parking in main car park, 50 yards from reception
- Majority of garden is accessible, there are some slopes and paths made of a non-gravel surface
- Accessible toilets adjacent to reception and in our restaurant
- Restaurant has easy sloped access for wheelchairs
- Powered mobility scooters are available to borrow - please call 01825 790302 to book one for your visit
- Wheelchairs are also available to borrow - please just ask when you arrive at reception
