Spring holiday activities

We have lots of activities to enjoy over the spring holidays. Explore the spring flower trail around the garden to see if you can find all the flowers on your spotter sheet, join us for spring crafts to make your own bouncing bug or see if you can find the lost sheep in the garden. Don't forget the Easter egg hunt over the last weekend of the holidays too.
Cadbury Easter egg trail
18 - 21 April
Bring your little ones along to eggsplore Sheffield Park and Garden and complete our Cadbury Easter egg trail. Search for the knight and princess outfits throughout our garden to claim your Cadbury chocolate Egghead prize. See if you can spot a dragon on the way....

Plants and planting during May half term
May half term Mon 26 - Fri 30 May
Tick off number 41 on your 50 things list at the start of the growing season and take home your very own potted seed to nurture into a full-grown plant.
£2.50 per child, includes pot, soil and seed to take home. Normal admission applies
Our woodland play trail is a natural play area in an enclosed copse, just a short stroll across the parkland. It's an ideal place to run wild and let your imagination and sense of adventure take over.
Bug hunting in the garden and parkland
Tick off challenge number 31 from our list of 50 things to do before you're 11 ¾ and hunt for bugs. Hire a bug hunting kit from reception and explore the garden and parkland looking for little beasties.
How many of your '50 things to do before you're 11 ¾' can you tick off this year? We have complied the top ten things to do here at Sheffield Park to get you on your way to the big 50. Come dressed for the outdoors, bring your curiosity and get ready for an adventure.
Don't forget to get a sticker for your scrapbook each time you complete a challenge. You can get stickers from our visitor reception.

Enjoy a car-free day and experience travel the way it once was. The Bluebell Railway now runs from East Grinstead to Sheffield Park. Why not make the whole day an adventure and arrive at Sheffield Park by steam train. From Sheffield Park station, our facilities and landscape garden are just a ten minute stroll up through the parkland.
