We offer a wide range of activities from early years and upwards. All our guided sessions are linked to the National Curriculum and tailored to your year group.

Planning a visit

All activities are fully risk-assessed and led by well-qualified and experienced staff and volunteers with CRB clearance.

Spineless wonders

We love minibeasts. From pond dipping to rock pools and woodland wildlife, we’ll help you find and learn about an exciting array of creepy crawlies.

Land art

Why don't you have a go at building your own natural masterpiece with a range of arty activities in the outdoors?


Build a base and light a fire with some exciting adventurous activities for older children.

Changing Seasons

From beautiful bluebells to fabulous fungi there is always something different to see! Different activities through the seasons and discounts available on guided visits in the autumn and winter.

50 Things to do before you are 11¾

Hunt for bugs, create some wild art and discover what lives in a pond! Why not complete some of the '50 Things to do before you’re 11¾’ challenge with your students? Get ‘50 Things’ scrapbooks and stickers for your class when you visit.

Insurance and Risk Assessment

Visiting groups should have Public Liability insurance. All our activities are comprehensively risk assessed. We can provide assistance with your Risk Assessment process. Please read and return the Insurance and Risk Assessment guidance documents prior to your visit.
