Join Matthew Oates, one of the country's leading naturalists, on a weekend of discovery.  August is a peak period for butterflies and the Pembrokeshire coast has some seriously good butterfly habitats and butterflies.

Rarer species on view may include dark-green fritillary, silver-washed fritillary, grayling and wall brown, and hopefully the clouded yellows will have come in. We will also be looking for the immature stages – eggs and caterpillars, discovering what they need and how to find them. A moth trap will be set up in the evening, and we also look at other flying insects (dragonflies, hoverflies, bees).
