Museum of Childhood

The Victorian School Teacher

Make sure you're on your best behaviour if you visit the Victorian school room in the museum as teaching styles back then were very strict. Our Victorian school teacher will make sure you do your neatest hand writing and sit up straight when conducting one of their lessons. Otherwise you may have to wear the dunce's hat!

The 8th gallery in the museum is our temporary exhibition space, and a chance for the team here to get some of the collection out of store and on display.
