Surrey Hills
The National Trust cares for over 4000 hectares of countryside in the Surrey Hills and forms part of the Surrey Hills Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). You can visit popular attractions such as Box Hill, Leith Hill, Frensham Little Pond, and Hindhead Commons and Devils Punch Bowl or hidden gems like Limpsfield Common, Headley Heath, and Witley and Milford Commons.

Frensham Little Pond is the perfect place to spot common and rare birds whilst Denbies Hillside is home to a large variety of butterflies. Or why not visit the ancient woodlands at Harewoods or Abinger Roughs - a perfect place for a young explorer to discover nature. With spectacular views across the region, our places are the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are miles of walking trails and waymarked routes to explore and at Box Hill, Frensham and Hindhead you’ll find our ever-popular cafes. Alternatively, you can bring a picnic, sit just about anywhere, and soak up the breathtaking landscapes.

Easter adventures at Box Hill
This Easter, treat the whole family to an Easter adventure at Box Hill. Follow the trail through the woodlands with games and challenges along the way, and then collect your prize at the end. (£3 per trail). And over the Bank Holiday weekend, bring your fabulously decorated hard-boiled egg for the traditional egg roll down the hill! Rolling takes place at 11am & 3pm.
