Tatton offer a series of living history programmes: site tours around the historicproperties, themed study tours for younger visitors and hands-on history days which are essentially activity based. Also environmental days with the ranger team and literature sessions for secondary schools.

In relation to purely historical context Tatton's education sessions link with study for Victorians, Tudor, Anglo Saxon, Viking, Medieval and World War Two. Most sessions do have cross curricular links to drama, literacy, numeracy, geography, science and design technology.
