Award winning deer walks at Tatton Park

For centuries the red and fallow deer at Tatton have roamed freely over 1,000 acres of parkland. Join the rangers for a unique opportunity to see the deer in their natural habitat, either on a guided evening walk or a deer feed and trailer ride through the parkland. If you are lucky, see newborn fawns and calves. Contact our education department 01625 374428 for more information.

Servants bells in Tattons mansion - hidden histories

Hidden Histories is an exciting new project that uses new research to inform the interpretation of the kitchens and servants’ quarters at Tatton Park. The project will uncover collections and archives which relate to the personal histories of those who have lived and worked here. These personal histories will highlight what life was like for staff and servants in the mansion.

Deer and wildlife in the parkland

Herds of red and fallow deer roam freely in 1,000 acres of parkland. The meres, woodlands and rough grassland provide perfect habitat for wildlife.
