Please help us unite the house and the garden

We urgently need your help

The family, who have lived in Trelissick House for over 100 years, have moved to a smaller apartment within the home. They have sold some of the contents of the house - from the rooms they are vacating - at auction. Thanks to your kind donations we were able to buy some of the assets. However there is still a lot remedial work which needs doing to the house before we can open it to you which is why we still need your kind donations.

Keep the story of Trelissick alive

We feel passionately about the house and its contents and want to be able to share these with you. We want to be able tell you the story of the family who created the gardens, who lived here.

So, what is the story?

Trelissick has a fascinating history and we want to tell the story of the man who fell in love with Trelissick House as he sailed past it on his yacht, and how Trelissick has become what it is today.

Please play your part today

We now need your donation to help us prepare the house for opening. We feel opening the house will make a huge difference to the experience of visiting Trelissick.

The house, which has rarely been open before, currently has a small number of rooms open for visitors at weekends, but from 2 July to 28 September it will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10.30am - 5.30pm (last admission 5pm). The rooms that have been opened are on the south front so visitors are able to enjoy the stunning views down the Fal estuary.
