Saving the Orangery
From March until June 2013 we're again offering secondary schools, colleges, universities and special interest groups the chance to get involved with our orangery project. Enjoy a two-hour taster session run by Nimbus Conservation’s head stone mason and stone conservator.
Understanding our visitors
Looking for ways of making your course more relevant and exciting for your students? Designed in collaboration with local travel and tourism tutors, this practical session looks at how we seek to understand our visitors, their needs and expectations. Students can also gain an understanding of how to develop a marketing strategy.
Would your school benefit from working outdoors? Would you like your pupils to work with our outdoors team for the day, as they learn about woodland management and conservation? Our outdoor sessions are cross-curricular and will assist with geography, PE and critical skills.
We could support your school by working in partnership to deliver innovative collaborative projects. Past projects include support for creative students using Tyntesfield to inspire unique filming, photography drama and dance projects. We have a strong track record of winning funding to support partnership, working and welcome enquiries from local groups with creative ideas.
Use our Tyntesfield Stories oral history archive to inspire creative projects. We can showcase your work on our webpages and through our social media networks. Interested? Get inspired and view the fantastic films made by the Creative and Media diploma students at Backwell School on our youtube channel.
Discover our collections
