We’ve put together a list of 50 things to do before you're 11¾ to help you and your children get outside and reconnect with nature. We've some great 50 things events for you all to take part in and have a really wild time. Have a go at den-building at Sheffield Park, East Sussex, make a daisy chain or grass trumpet, or hold a scary beast at Tyntesfield in North Somerset.

Kick-start your adventures

What will you find behind the fairy door?

From houses that are guarded by dragons, to forests that are home to fairies and secret places with stories to tell, we've lots to feed the imagination of the young and the young-at-heart.  Here's a few of our top-rated adventures.

Could you survive in the wild?  Build a shelter, learn bushcraft skills and cook over a campfire. Join us for a family wild camp in Tremayne Woods, Lizard Point and Kynance Cove.

Want to climb to 'treemendous heights' at Stowe and if you're feeling brave, take the zip-wire back down? For a family day out, join us for the Heddon Valley fun day and make your very own bow and arrow.

Animal lovers

Take time out for a bit of nature watching and meet the animals at our farm open days at Penrose in Cornwall. Or go on a bug hunt and see how many creepy-crawlies you can find at Woolsthorpe Manor, Lincolnshire.
