Volunteering with the National Trust is so much more than just room stewarding

Make a difference on your doorstep

We couldn't do all the work we do looking after some of the country's most special places without help from people like you. Our volunteers are talented, passionate and generous folks who we couldn't do without.

If you've got skills that you'd like to put to good use at one of your local places, we'd love to hear from you.

Supporter groups in the North East

There are plenty of ways to get more involved with the National Trust. Local supporter groups help you to get the most of being involved with the Trust. You'll share interests with likeminded people, enjoy exclusive outings and events, and all the while help to support the Trust's work.
