Volunteering - what you can do

Volunteers undertake many tasks in practical conservation work with coastal or countryside wardens - from bird, mammal and butterfly surveys to building traditional dry-stone walls. Other roles include gardening, tour guiding, collections care, retail, catering, administration, events delivery, IT and project management support.

Volunteering with us is a great way to get out and about, meet like-minded people and gain new skills and experience. In Northern Ireland, over 2,000 volunteers from local communities help the Trust annually. They make a huge and greatly appreciated contribution to our work.
