A great experience

Members and volunteers can get more from their support of the National Trust by joining a local group. These promote our work and make membership and volunteering a more enjoyable experience.

The North Hampshire Centre exists to provide NT members and supporters with some interesting social activities, talks and coach outings to places of historic and cultural interest (not necessarily all NT properties). We often also have a 'summer holiday’ of a few days. We generate a financial surplus from our activities, which enables us to support the needs of The Vyne and other NT properties. Although The Vyne is our home base, our afternoon talks - mainly in the autumn/winter - are in local halls in the Hook, Alton and Fleet area. Pick-up stops for our outings - mainly in the spring/summer - are usually Hartley Wintney, Hook, Basingstoke (and Alton, when a trip heads southwards.)

Please see current programme and details on our own website – and use the ‘ENQUIRY’ tab to ask for an application form.
