Enjoy wild adventures in the woods at Wallington

  • Relax, picnic or play in the grassy courtyard - it’s a lovely big lawn in the heart of Wallington, with the café and toilets in easy reach 
  • Enjoy free colouring and puzzles in the café – look out for activity sheets when you visit the café, with puzzles and colouring pages to keep you busy
  • Burn off energy in the adventure playground - our woodland play area is full of exciting equipment for you to wear yourself out on
  • Explore the 'wild' West Wood - look out for red squirrels, hunt for signs of wildlife, build dens or stretch your legs on a walk down to the river
  • Let off steam on our play train and platform or storm our play fort - enjoy the themed play zones beyond the adventure playground
  • Try our new geocaching treasure hunt - pick up a map from the shop and use the co-ordinates to find the secret boxes hidden along the river
  • Look out for dragons - there are four stone dragons on the lawn in front of the house but there is rumoured to be a fifth dragon living in the woods somewhere

As well as a wonderful house, gardens and play areas to explore, we’ve got family events and children’s activities happening throughout the year, from themed weekends to festive events and hands-on activities.   

Go wild outdoors

With loads of outdoor spaces Wallington is a great place to tick off some of the 50 things, from climbing a tree and building a den to setting up a snail race and flying a kite. Head to our yurt in the West Wood if you need inspiration.
