What we're doing
Antony Gormley at Barrington Court
In a career spanning 40 years, Antony Gormley has become internationally known for his works, many of which have used his own existence as a test ground.
One of the highlights of 2012's arts programme was the opportunity for visitors to see his Field for the British Isles at Barrington Court in Somerset. Here, we talk to Antony Gormley about the work.
Trust New Art is a three-year programme of contemporary art taking place at selected National Trust historic houses, countryside and garden properties across England.
It is supported by a partnership between National Trust and Arts Council England which aims to connect more people to our sites through contemporary art, while diversifying audiences for the arts.
