About the awards

The Fine Farm Produce Awards recognise the very best products from our farms and estates.

Each year, entries are invited from all the properties we care for and our 1,500 tenant farmers.

Winning products have to reach a very high standard. All entrants are required to pass a checklist of environmental standards and to guarantee the quality and origin of ingredients alongside their production methods before the judging process even begins.

This year the judging panel awarded 42 products from 27 producers the right to use the coveted Fine Farm Produce Award logo for the next 12 months.

This included six new producers and nine new products.

Proud sponsors

The RSPCA's Freedom Food scheme sponsors these awards. The charity is dedicated to farm animal welfare - where you see the logo you know that animals have been kept to strict RSPCA welfare standards.

The overall winner

'It’s really great to be recognised – and makes it all worthwhile.'
- Chris Shaw, head ranger and deer manager, Belton Estate

Belton House scooped the top prize this year for their fallow deer venison.
