What we protect

Over the summer of 2010, we set up 45 new bee colonies at our places. At Mottisfont, we fitted a special camera within the very heart of the new hive to give us amazing access to the life of the hive over the summer.

As well as beaming the footage from the hive to a special viewing screen in the gardens, we created a series of videos that tell the story of the Mottisfont colony.
