If you're looking for something interesting to do, why not consider volunteering at Fan Bay Deep Shelter? We're looking for people to help us take visitors on a guided tour of the tunnels when we open next year, showing them this forgotten wartime relic. You can find out more information about the project on our blog.

You don't need to be an expert gardener to help with the plant fair, we provide all of the materials and can even give you some help and advice too, or if you prefer you can just help us run the event in May. You can find out a bit more about what's involved by taking a look at the volunteer role profile below.
A great cause
The plant fair, in May, is the biggest event of our year. With thousands of plants all lovingly grown by our volunteers, it's the highlight of the local horticultural calendar and raises valuable funds to support the conservation work we do here. We're looking for people to help us grow plants for sale and help us run the event. So if you think you could help, please contact us by email or call 01304 207326.
The East Kent National Trust association which is based in Canterbury has been a constant source of support for the work of the Trust in East Kent. They are a friendly group who are keen to welcome new members so why not get in touch?
