Scrub clearing on Sedge Fen

Volunteering at the Fen

Volunteering opportunities range from conservation assistants and boat crew to learning assistants and Fen Cottage guides.

If you like meeting people and have a few hours or days to spare each week or month we would be delighted to hear from you.

Inspiring children about wildlife

Learning volunteers

Can you engage with children, inspire them to love the outdoors and help them to learn about the fen, it’s history and wildlife.

Learning volunteers assist in the delivery of education activities to visiting schools, and children’s events during the school holidays. Past experience of working with children is useful.
