A day to remember

With an emphasis on grandeur, style and individuality, Wimpole Estate is the perfect place for your special day.

The Hall is an ideal venue for your wedding as it was designed with entertaining in mind.

During its heyday the 2nd Earl of Oxford, Lord Harley, entertained a glittering circle of writers, musicians and artists here. Today you can entertain in the same sumptuous style, an experience that your guests will never forget.

Civil ceremonies are held in the opulent Saloon or Grand Dining Room, perhaps with a drinks reception in the main entrance hall.

Following the ceremony, why not have your reception in an exclusive marquee by the Parterre. It will open out onto beautiful parkland which can accommodate larger parties, ideal for dancing the night away.

Wimpole also provides the perfect setting for wedding photographs, providing an elegant and impressive backdrop for all those special memories.

Our team of friendly and experienced staff and top caterers will help you to plan every detail of your special occasion. Our emphasis is on high quality service, individuality, fine dining and attention to detail.

The reception

As well as the option of an exclusive marquee in the gardens you might like the small more intimate setting of the Old Rectory.

It's a beautiful building, ideal for a smaller wedding reception. The Rectory's French doors open out from the main room onto the private Rectory garden. Your guests will be free to enjoy the beautifully manicured lawn and terrace.
