This beautiful Tudor building on the Dudmaston Estate has been cleverly converted to provide bunkhouse accommodation for up to 20 people.
The property provides four bunk-rooms of varying sizes, two of which are located on the ground floor. There is a fully equipped, catering style kitchen with a dining area attached. There is even a hand bell that you can use to call your group to breakfast.
On the first floor you will find a large living area which can accommodate everyone, ideal for relaxing at the end of the day and discussing your group’s adventures. This room is also perfect for a rainy day as there is a TV and DVD along with lots of games that you can play.
The washroom at the Bunkhouse can be found on the first floor. There is also a washroom on the ground floor contained within the courtyard area, if you don’t mind venturing outside.
Walkers and cyclists
The Bunkhouse is graded through Visit England and we are fully equipped to meet the Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome schemes. Within the Bunkhouse you will find maps of the Estate which show all the footpaths and bridleways that you can explore, but if you fancy taking a walk further afield there is also an OS map of the area that you can use. There is even a puncture repair kit for your bike should you need it.
This accommodation provides the perfect base for any type of group from volunteers working on the estate to friends looking to walk the beautiful Shropshire countryside. There is something for everyone at Big Mose.
