The Wrexham Association's membership comes mainly from the Wrexham, Mold and Buckley areas.

We enjoy a series of winter talks, held in the lecture theatre of the Glyndwr University in Wrexham. Talks have included in the past the history of canals in our area, the history of photography and cameras, Whixall mosses and fens, and surgery in the Peninsular War.

During the summer months, regular coach trips are arranged to places of historic interest. Past visits have included:

All money raised by the group's activities is used to support special projects at Erddig Hall in Wrexham. Over £106,000 has been donated since 1981, which recently has helped to complete the renovation of the Victorian children’s playhouse, the reconstructed vinery and the provision of two oak benches by the canal.

We are delighted to welcome new members – do come and join us.
