Botany drop-in session and guided walk

21 May, 10.30am-4pm As part of National Nature Reserves Week, discover the wonders of Newtown's wildlife-rich meadows with a drop-in session and guided walk.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Join our team from 10.30am-1.30pm for a drop in session in Newtown's meadows, with expert staff on hand to share their knowledge.

You'll find us in the meadows where we'll have equipment and ID guides to help you discover the flora that grows here, and we'll be sharing tips for IDing wildflowers and grasses around the reserve.

Then in the afternoon at 2pm, our 2 hour guided walk will take you around the nature-rich meadows, focusing on the grasses and flowers that grow here.

You're welcome join just the drop-in or the walk, or enjoy both.
