Little Explorers at Newtown

24 May, 10.30am-12.30pm. To celebrate National Nature Reserves Week, bring your little ones along to Newtown for a guided event to help them discover the wonders of nature.

We'll be heading into the meadows and woodland to look for minibeasts and to discover how everything is connected in nature. There'll be games and activities that are just right for pre-schoolers.

Meet at the Visitor Point (PO30 4PA) and our team will show you where to go.

What to bring and wear

Please wear wellies and dress for the weather. There will be a break midway through, so please also bring a drink and a snack.

Accessibility

The event will cover about 1 mile in total. Newtown is mostly flat but there is some uneven terrain.

Free event but donations welcome. Parking available at the Visitor Point, along with toilets and refreshments
