Daffodils and snowdrops
Soon we will be moving from winter to spring at A la Ronde. Fancy a walk around the grounds, with fantastic views over the Exe estuary along with thousands of new flowering bulbs and plants for this season?
Spring in the garden at A la Ronde
As spring approaches, it is a wonderful time to explore A la Ronde. While there are no leaves on the trees, the estuary sea views are fantastic, and throughout the grounds spring flowering bulbs and shrubs are starting to provide pockets of colour.
See daffodils, bluebells, tulips and trees covered in blossom as spring takes hold in the grounds.
Caring for A la Ronde
Gardeners and garden volunteers work year round, planting and tending to plants that now burst into bloom after the winter. Why not celebrate the arrival of the new season with a visit to house and grounds?
Your spring day out will help us to carry on looking after gardens and green spaces for everyone to enjoy. Stop for a spot of refreshment in the café, as every purchase also helps our work caring for special places.
Ask at Reception about estate tours. The A la Ronde estate has the fine bones of a Regency garden. Unearth a piece of history on a volunteer-guided tour that will show you secrets and stories of the estate. These tours will start around Easter, keep an eye on the website for more details.
