Summer's out and we've got lot's going on to keep the family entertained.

Festival of Archaeaology

Come and join us as we celebrate the festival of archaeology 16th - 31st July.

Listen and chat with our conservation team, get hands on with our collections, learn how to record findings and how to use the Harris matrix. There'll also be other activities for children.

Who knew archaeology could be so much fun?

50 things to do before you're 113/4

Pick up a scrapbook and take part in our various 50 things activities.

From playing Pooh sticks and making daisy chains, to bird watching and bug hunting. You'll be sure to tick a few things off your list.

Victorian Games

Join us for lots of fun activities this summer and take part in some Victorian fun and games.

Dance round the maypole, play hopscotch, have a go at hoopla, the tin can alley or hook a duck.

And on every Wednesday and weekend, we'll be running timed events like 3 legged race or sack jumping.

Who knows, you may even get a certificate. Fun for all the family.
