A special thank you to National Lottery players
Thanks to the support of National Lottery players, the funding the National Trust receives from the Heritage Lottery Fund helps us carry out vital conservation work. To say thanks, on Wednesday 13 December we’re offering free entry to many of our places, including Anglesey Abbey, to anyone with a National Lottery ticket or scratch card.
During the last two years the National Trust has received over £6.5 million, thanks to National Lottery players, through grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Without money like this, we wouldn’t be able to undertake some of our most ambitious work and look after special places for ever, for everyone.
At Anglesey Abbey we received £82,000 in 2013, to help us restore the Domestic Wing of the House, which is now enjoyed by thousands of people each year.
On Wednesday 13 December we're joining in a special promotion and celebration for National Lottery players. Just bring along a National Lottery ticket or scratch card (new or old) and you can enjoy the House & Gardens for free.
