The Humphry Repton designed landscape affords expansive views down to the River Lynher highlighted by dusky autumn tones at this time of year. When Repton designed the garden at Antony in the early nineteenth century it was fashionable to have unbroken views down to water & these views can still be appreciated today.
The champion trees look spectacularly golden during autumn. The highlight is the black walnut tree on main lawn with its majestic branches. The flower displays aren't over either, the Iceberg roses and catmint on the top terrace continue to flower well into the autumn months.
