A la Ronde Roof appeal

Water is coming through the roof and causing damage to the internationally significant, one-of-a-kind shell gallery. The roof needs to be made watertight, the gantry boarding's around the gallery need to be replaced and the windows need updating to help protect the gallery from light damage. Making the roof watertight is the first step, once this is completed conservation work on the gallery can begin.

A la Ronde Scaffolding
  • Over 30% of the shell gallery has already been lost
  • The roof will cost £106,000 to repair
  • The 16-sided scaffolding costs £45,000 to construct and build
