Our roof is leaking at Killerton
Our roof is leaking. We’re taking action to protect the house and collections. You’ve helped us to raise the last £100k towards vital roof repairs and restoration to stonework, chimneys, windows, roof lanterns and the exterior. We’ve reached our original target but you can still make a difference - the more we can raise the more conservation we can do to keep caring for this special place for generations to enjoy.
How the appeal adds up
- You've helped us beat £100k can we make it to £105k?
- We're reinstating 7 historic chimneys thanks to a £20k grant from Viridor Credit
- The garden was created in the 1770s by John Veitch
" We’re saying a huge thank you to everybody that’s donated so far – you’ve made a big difference! There’s lots of love out there for this special place and we’re absolutely bowled over by your support. We’ve now reached our £100k target but the more we can raise, the more conservation we can do. We're so thankful to Mr Laurie Marshall who left us a generous legacy which enabled us to start this project."
