Help us repair The Vyne’s roof

The Vyne’s roof is leaking and causing serious damage to the building and the many unique treasures it holds. Your gift today will help re-tile the roof, rebuild the chimneys, repair parapets and improve guttering so that rainwater no longer gets in during heavy rain.

  • We are undertaking a £5.4 million project to restore the Vyne's Tudor roof
  • The project rooftop walkway is 13m high
  • More than 160k people visited the Vyne last year

The Vyne’s survival depends on people who care

Standing proud and strong for over 500 years, The Vyne in Hampshire was the charming home of the Chute family, who lovingly restored and took care of it over four centuries. We are able to enjoy a glimpse of this history thanks to centuries of care from a long line of custodians and now The Vyne is depending on us.

The Vyne's chimneys need your help

The constant pressure of wind and rain has led to structural instability and the chimneys are now leaning dangerously to one side. Will you help us stay true to the original architectural style by giving a gift today to help repair and rebuild?

Help protect priceless collections

The Vyne is home to a precious collection of furniture and artworks dating back to the Tudors. Rare tapestries have already had to be removed due to water damage. Help us fix the structural issues so this unique collection can be safely displayed once again.
